Villa-Lobos, Heitor

(5 March 1887, Rio de Janeiro – 17 November 1959, Rio de Janeiro)
   Founder of Brazilian musical nationalism, he composed the Missa Sa˜o Sebastia˜o (three voices, 1937) and 36 other unaccompanied sacred works.
